ℹ️ EU airline compensation laws apply when a flight is delayed by 3+ hours, canceled, or overbooked, causing passengers to be denied boarding. The regulation covers flights departing from the EU and flights arriving in the EU on an EU-based airline.

📌 Note that airlines are exempt if the disruption is due to "extraordinary circumstances" like extreme weather or air traffic control strikes.
